Swedish Bitters

Swedish Bitters are mainly used to treat stomach problems such as bloating, gas, constipation and slow digestion. This recipe was passed to Apotheca with the closure of Granary Herbs.

Ingredients:

WATER, ALCOHOL, ANGELICA, RHUBARB, SENNA, THERIAC VENEZIAN, BLACKSNAKE ROOT, MALABAR CARDOMOM, VALERIAN RT, ZEDVOARY RT, CARLINE THISTLE, MYRRH, CAMPHOR, MANNA, SAFFRON.

Directions:

Shake well before use.

Adults: 1 teaspoon (5ml) in a cup of water or other liquid, before meals. Can reduce to 2.5ml after symptoms improve.

Store in a cool dark place.
